Now Letting Out Both Full Racing Karts & Engines For Hire
Engine Hire
We are now letting out our own High performance racing engines for you to race, test or practice in.
This means you can race and compete in 4 stroke championships with top of the line racing engines, but not have the expense of buying & Building an engine, engine rebuilds, oil changes etc and be guarenteed a high horsepower racing engine. This also means that you can race in your own kart chassis, set-up for your own driving style and just bolt on one of our engines at the start of the Meeting/ Test day.
Your chassis will have to be suitable for the Honda GX160 or GX200 engine. We will not be responsible for adapting your chassis on the day to fit the engine, you must make sure your chassis is suitable for the engine before the race meeting. We will fit the engine at the start of the day, set it up and run it for the day. At the end of the day, we will unbolt the engine and bring it back with us.
The engine will come complete with 16T Clutch, Exhaust, Carburetor set-up and Engine top plate & Fuel Pump.
Your chassis will need a Chain & Chain guard, Fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine, Fuel & Throttle wire.
We offer discount for drivers wanting to race one of our engines for a whole season. We offer 2 different stages of GX200 engines, stage 1 which is around 13-15Hp and stage 2 which is a full out open 18-20Hp.
Our stage 1 engine is based for a Jnr engine 11-16 and our stage 2 engine is based for a Snr engine.
Both engines are able to compete in both classes though, and if our stage 2 engine is raced in JNR it will be winning most, if not all races.
Prices are as follows:
Stage 1 Engine - Test Day/ Race Day - £37.50
Stage 1 Engine - Full Racing Season (12 Race Meetings) - £400.00 Saving of £50.00
Stage 2 Engine - Test Day/ Race Day - £50.00
Stage 2 Engine - Full Racing Season (12 Race Meetings) - £550.00 Saving of £50.00
We will bring an engine to the following circuits - Redlodge, Wildtracks, Ryehouse & Whilton Mill.
The race championships that we will bring the engines to are - Redlodge Club200 Clubpro, Stretton, British Thunder Kart Championship - Which is held at many different circuits over the year.
If you are interested in racing at a circuit not mentioned, as long as it's not to far from our area - Hertfordshire - We may take our engines to that circuit.

We also offer complete karts for hire.
Our current kart for hire has the following spec -
Solo Chassis which is powered by one of our open GX200 Stage 2 engines at around 20 Horsepower.
Kart hire includes:
Full Kart for the day,
Transport the kart to & from the track,
All Engine Oils & Fuel Included,
Chassis lubricated & kept in tip top condition,
A good set of wet & dry tyres,
Chassis & Engine set-up according to weather,
This kart has the engine & power to race in the senior class, but is also able to race in Junior class.
The kart will be competitive in the Senior class, battling for top positions and if raced in Junior it will be capable of winning, where ever it starts on the grid.

Kart With Stage 2 Engine - Full Racing Season (12 Meetings) = £730.00 - Saving of £50.00

*If any damage is caused to the kart by the driver himself or another racer, the driver of our kart is to pay fully for damage repairs. A deposit of £100.00 will be taken at the start of the day, and will be returned to the driver if no damage has accured to the kart. The driver also has to sign a form, agreeing that we @ GX200 Tuning Store UK are NOT responsible for any personal injuries which may accur throughout the day.*
